Once upon a time, picking out one time, people who had their own views of the world that clashed with the views the powers that be would have you think would be burned, countless free thinking women and men were called witches and killed. (I might go in to more reasons behind this later it's an interesting topic when you get in to the reasons why people were called witches)
Today you would think we were beyond such things but you only have to turn on your TV to find out that we are not....we....I hate using that word because I would hate to be tied to that group of people, however I could use 'we' as 'we' are letting it happen.....anyway, yes today when someone says something that is against the norm or radical or different they are then ridiculed in the media.

There were worse ones than this, Rosie being ridiculed (Oh yeah and show a clip of her doing something silly to make her out to be someone really crazy huh? yeesh) for her views on 9/11, are we not aloud now to have such views? did anyone come forward to try and debate how she might be wrong? Rosie was prepared to bring forward some proof but was there any against what she said? From what I've seen no one bothered with such things, they went straight for the dunking stool (old method of testing if someone was a witch, if they drowned they were innocent).
I could talk about 9/11 but I wont, there's a great vid here Loose Change I advise people to watch it but to then make their own minds up about such things, we all have our own minds and I'm not telling you want to think, I just want to give you something to think about and decide for yourself.
