Pointing out a few things

I was flicking through the channels this morning and happened to stop on BBC parliament, this one woman was talking in the house of lords, I haven't a clue what she was talking about, what interested me was the fact that there was only a handful off people on the seats and from what I could tell they were all asleep! I continued to watch and to my horror this continued on to the next speaker and the next as these people tried to get there point on to sleeping ears. I don't know what all this is about but I find it disturbing when these people are supposed to be our leaders.

Oh and I hope that one of them didn't die sitting there as I saw this fly walking around on someone for ages!
Ah they are talking about housing, another topic I want to give a few points on.
Young people are unable to afford housing, houses are becoming too expensive for first time buyers....annnnd with all the immigrants that are coming in to the country and being given council houses then where are people going to live?
People are trying to sell their houses and no one can afford them, is the government going to step in and buy them cheep because no one wants them so that they can then make them in to council houses? watch as the government buys up the uk and controls where we all live, we'll all end up with the PM as our landlord. *shrugs* it's just how I see it.

Nothing to hide, nothing to fear?
Are people going to keep using that little 'mantra' when cctv is placed in our homes? or when these things are floating over all our heads?

Look around you, cameras are everywhere, on streets and in shops, on buses, they are worn by traffic wardens and now they're going to be in the air!
Report on flying cams

How many cams are in your local supermarket?

But do cameras really prevent crime? our prisons are fuller than ever so it would appear not.
Why do we close our curtains at night? for privacy? and yet we think nothing of being caught on camera 300 times a day? we are phisicaly tracked pretty much every second of the day.
Am I just paranoid?

NIN Year Zero
Ahh what can I say, I am in love with their new album and it's lyrics sing to my heart. It's a story about a near future, where we are controlled and manipulated by the government, where freedom is privilege not a right.
Year Zero you can listen to the tracks here.
In a spin off of this there has been set up a sort of art resistance group that has really latched on to it's principals.

Open Source Resistance
There have been some great art come out of it
