Price on a smile?

"Health Secretary Alan Johnson is calling for fluoride to be added to England's water supplies in the hope of reducing tooth decay among some of society's poorest and most vulnerable."

Now I'm not going to pretend to know what I'm talking about here, I'm going to borrow the odd fact from here and there but the idea of putting fluoride, something that in large amounts can kill you, in to our water supply sounds a little odd to me. Fluoride is already in toothpaste, why do we need it in out water?
Fluoride in water has been linked to cancer and so many other medical problems are we really going to take that chance just for less cavities? Why not offer better dental care instead?

I've just spent a few moments looking through websites about this and it's scary all the different bad effects fluoride can have on the body! Wikipedia Observer Please take a moment to do some research yourself.

Some people believe that these things are being used to dumb us down, "I've been having problems with recall lately since these metals are designed to dumb you down. Where did these heavy metals come from? Food colouring of all kinds (yes, as in M&Ms, frosting, colored cereals%u2026), baking soda and baking powder, mercury fillings, fluoride toothpaste, tap water, soda, beer, etc." (Truth4Freedom) and I can't help but to believe them.

I was watching Aliens v Predator 2 last night and there was this one line that had me laugh out loud. "You're crazy, the government doesn't lie to us!"

Edit 19th Feb: I've started using fluoride free toothpaste and my teeth are looking great, better than they have in a while o.o they feel nice too.

Symbols again:

Anyone spotted one of these vans going around? with it's 3663 logo? along with the 'By appointment to Her Majesty' it's maybe just me but I can't help but see '666' in that (3+3=6)

I've wrote about symbols before here 'Make your own links'

More about symbols here, this kind of thing really interests me as you see it everywhere.
